Todo retrocede un paso

Al reportar, el verbo retrocede un tiempo: presente → pasado, pasado → past perfect. También cambian los pronombres y los marcadores de tiempo.
“"I am tired." → She said she was tired.”
Si lo dicho sigue siendo verdad, el cambio es opcional.

Say
